Radiator Springs Classic, or simply Radiator Springs internationally, was a die-cast collection first released in 2012. Introduced as a Toys R Us exclusive in the United States, the series concept featured older, previously-released characters from the first Cars film, which hadn't been produced since the release of Cars 2.
Iterations of the line were released sporadically from 2012 to 2016, with the final branding featuring certain characters from Cars 3. Though it was discontinued afterwards, many consider the Welcome to Radiator Springs series to be its spiritual successor.

The first two waves of Radiator Springs Classic models were released in summer 2012.

2013-2014
Third and fourth waves were released in 2013.[1][2][3] From here onwards, the packaging received slight changes, with the black 'pattern' in the upper right corner being more visible, and the nameplate labels extending all the way across the blister pack face - re-releases from the 2012 waves consequently received updated codes.[4]
In later assortments, the "Disney Pixar Cars" logo was replaced with the "World of Cars" one, due to the theatrical release of the spin-off film Planes.
