Hit & Run are two cars who compete in demolition derbies at the Thunder Hollow Speedway's Crazy Eight as partners. They utilize a "bait" strategy, with Run luring opponents with his easy-to-hit appearance, while Hit slams into his pursuers.
History
In Cars 3, Hit and Run are two of the competitors who oppose Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez when they accidentally enter a derby. Both are eliminated from the competition when they both slam into Miss Fritter making her angry and smash into them, with Ramirez emerging victorious.
Bio
Meet the Cars
- Most demolition derby racers operate solo, but not Hit and his partner, Run. Run is the lead car, drawing the opponents after him because he looks so easy to catch. But where is he really taking them? Right into a trap. Hit then drives in and smashes the opponent until they can no longer move. Paint another skull on his wheel well.
Trivia
- In behind the scenes footage of Cars 3, it revealed that Hit and Run reused duplicate models of Victor Hugo during the early animation stages of the Thunder Hollow Speedway sequence.[1]
