The '''Yellow Pickup Fan''' is an unnamed background character in ''[[Cars]]''. He is seen during the opening [[Dinoco 400]] scene at the [[Motor Speedway of the South]], next to [[Wilmar Flattz]] in the fanstands. When rookie [[Lightning McQueen]] (whom the pickup is sporting souvenirs for) suddenly loses his rear tires to blowout, the pickup reacts with concern.

While the yellow pickup has never been named or played a prominent role in any ''Cars'' media, his model rig appears in various merchandising. Lloyd Springer is a yellow pick-up who went to see the 2005 [[Piston Cup Racing Series|Piston Cup]] final at [[Motor Speedway of the South]], and he got a place alongside [[Wilmar Flattz]]. He got freaked out when McQueen's back tire exploded, as he was a fan of him. He even bought a Lightning antenna ornament and a lightning roof hat!
