Disney Infinity: 2.0 Edition
Template:Infobox Video GameDisney Infinity: 2.0 Edition is a video game featuring characters from the Cars series, and the direct sequel to Disney Infinity. The new version will include Marvel Super Heroes such as Captain America and Iron Man.
It will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Wii U, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September 2014.
The starter pack will include a game disc, the Disney Infinity base, figures of Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow, two power discs, and a Avengers Play Set piece.
Gameplay
The game will control much like the original, with the same idea of various different Disney characters running around in a world of toys. Elements such as play sets and toy box adventures will return, as well as all the characters and power discs from the first game.
Play Sets
Play Sets work the same way they did in the original Disney Infinity, with the concept of having your character complete missions for the cast members. The new play sets are considerably larger, mostly due to the inclusion of some characters having the ability to fly.
Toy Box
The Toy Box has the same concept as the previous game did, but with slight changes such as having toy box mini-games rather than character-specific adventures. While the first game had the Disney Infinity Vault where the player could spend the tokens they have earned to receive a random toy, 2.0 has players use their tokens to purchase whatever toy they want.
Leveling up
Once a certain amount of Sparks have been collected, the character will upgrade to the next level, maxing out at level 20.

Representation of other series such as Darkwing Duck and Gravity Falls has been seen, but it is currently unknown whether the franchises will receive playable characters.

Play Sets
Only three new play sets for the game have been confirmed. Unlike the characters from the first Disney Infinity, the play sets from the first game are not compatible with Disney Infinity 2.0.
