AppMATes

AppMATes is a merchandise line that features six cars from Cars 2. This can be used with an iPad to "explore the world of Radiator Springs" in racing and other mini games. This app has in-app purchases. Also, players must check that their iPad has a screen protector before they play.

Trivia

• The Luxo Ball makes an appearance in Radiator Springs.
• If the player does not have any AppMATes cars, they can use a Paper Lightning by touching Lightning's main menu at the left bottom of the screen, and then touching "Paper Lightning" on the menu.
• In the US, they have metal buttons. In the UK, they have magnetic studs.
• The app marks Okuni's first speaking role.
• Shu Todoroki does not speak if he is the player's opponent during races.
