  • This year marks the return of Miles Axlerod and Otis, who have not been released since 2016.
  • Davey Apex is called Dave Alternators again.
  • This year continues the trend of having no specific series based around a theme, event or character, which was brought back in 2021.
  • Chick Hicks' packaging using his Cars 3 artwork while the die-cast itself is based on his appearance from Cars.
  • 2022 Case E was the first Case to change it's contents, as Dana Krankoff was cancelled, Cruz Ramirez as Francis Beltline with Barrels was cancelled, Jae with VR Headset was pushed to Case F, Lewis Hamilton was pushed to Case F Jonathan Wrenchworths was pushed to Case G, Chick Hicks was pushed up from Case G and Ramone Green was pushed up from Case G.
