Train to Spain is the last deleted scene from Cars 2.
Just like in the final version, Mater made a mistake and decides to go back home, on a train he meets the handler of Team McQueen named Giulia and they were chased through the wagons by an early version of Tomber. Trivia
- Mater says the line "I'm happier than a rollbar in a demolition derby!". This line would be later reused by Darrell Cartrip and tweaked to have him talk about McQueen instead during the Tokyo Grand Prix.
- This scene is only available on the digital blu-ray copy of Cars 2 for unspecified reasons.
- This is the second deleted scene to show off Tomber as an antagonist. The first one being Meet Finn
- Interestingly, Tomber was supposed to have saws as weapons as well.
