Template:Infobox Video GamePlanes: The Video Game will be the seventh game in the main series of video games.
Gameplay
The game's events will take course after the movie.
The game is set up with different missions, so players will play as one of the characters to complete them while avoiding obstacles and any other conflicts throughout the levels.
Modes
- Story - a storyline-oriented setting that allows players to unlock more levels as they beat more.
- Balloon Pop - a minigame that tests flying skills and other aviation methods.
- Free Flight - the setting that allows you to freely explore the Planes universe.
- Air Rallies - exclusively to console versions of the game, this mode allows players to race againts other characters as they fight to the finish.
- Challenge - exclusively to handheld versions, this mode is slightly harder, and provides objectives to complete.
Characters
It has been confirmed there will be 10 playable characters throughout the game.

The game will be released for Nintendo products, the Wii, Wii U, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS.
