The Explosion was an American Punk Rock band that was best known for their songs "No Revolution", and Here I Am. Of the two an instrumental version of Here I Am was selected for the Cars: The Video Game soundtrack.
The Explosion broke up after being dropped from their label in 2007, with their final album not seeing release until 2012, and the band doing periodic one-off reunion shows every few years.
