The Ornament Valley Airport is an airport located in Ornament Valley.

History

The Ornament Valley Airport is an international airport located in Ornament Valley. The airport is available for commercial planes as well as carrying planes. It was built among the re-growing of Radiator Springs sometime between 2006 and 2007.

It first appeared in Cars: Mater-National Championship, being part of the new explorable areas in the revamped Ornament Valley.

There is a hanger, that you can drive through from one end to the other, with a conveyor belt above that has only one entrance, and the other end as an exit only. On the other side of the runway, there are more hangers. You can drive down the runway to the end. No planes come to the airport or leave it anytime during the game, and there is no activity inside the building.

There are 4 events that take place at the airport, 2 races (Ornament Valley Airport and Team Relay 2) and 2 minigames (Fillmore's Fuel Frenzy 4 and Doc and the Law's Race 'n' Chase 4).

The airport did not return in Cars: Race-O-Rama, just like most of the new stuff in Cars: Mater-National Championship.

In Cars 2, Team McQueen went to an airport to board a plane that flies to Tokyo, Japan to race at the World Grand Prix. The airport appears to be not far from Radiator Springs, but it's unclear if it was the same airport or a different one.
