Smokin' Sammy Smelter is Lightning McQueen's predecessor.
Bio
Smokin’ Sammy Smelter was the original racer for the Rust-eze team. He retired after a big accident and Lightning McQueen took his place. He later came to join the Radiator Springs race and to meet the new face for Rust-eze.
Livery
Sammy is painted blue, with red on his doors as well as the number 01.
Appearances
Sammy only appeared in the Boom! Studio comic books.
