Mel Dorado is a talk show host.

Bio

You know him better than you know your own brother, even if you don’t have a brother. He’s the Caddy with the golden touch, Mel ‘Are you there, Caller?’ Dorado — host of the 14 Gold Fender-winning syndicated talk show, the ‘Mel Dorado Show.’ With a career spanning more than three decades, when he started as an assistant at WCNC (World Car News Chicago), nobody steers an interview quite like Mel. In Cars 2, Mel Dorado is the one interviewing Miles Axlerod and Francesco Bernoulli before Mater interrupts with is phone call.

Livery

Mel is painted gold, with a chrome grille and bumper. He has a tan roof with brown cow spots. He has chrome rims and lining.

Model

As hinted by his name, Mel Dorado is a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado.

His license plate reads FSHBWL, which stands for fishbowl just like Acer, Fred Pacer, Carlo Maserati, and Cruz Besouro.
