Earth is the name of a planet in a parallel solar system. The earth in the world of cars is populated only by mechanical vehicles, both sapient and sentient life. It is in a parallel universe that is very similar to the human universe. It has one moon, which Mater visits in Moon Mater, before returning back to Earth with Impala XIII and Lightning McQueen.
