Gus, better known as The Magnificent Gus O`Line, used to be a great racer and he would race alongside [[Doc Hudson|The Fabulous Hudson Hornet]]. One day, both were at a race and both were bumper to bumper for the 1st place, when suddenly Gus got a problem. When the race was over, was discovered that Gus had dislocated his semi-axis! He realised the race season was already over for him. Fortunately, [[Doc Hudson|Doc]] said he had learn a trick from when he was young. Suddenly, Gus semi-axis was repaired, and he said to [[Doc Hudson|Doc]] he was very good at repairing, and that he sould became a doctor if he ever wants to quit from the races, but [[Doc Hudson|Doc]] said that would never happen.

One day, while he and [[Doc Hudson|Hudson Hornet]] were racing bumper to bumper for first place, Gus felt a problem, and after the race, it was discovered that he had dislocated his semi-axis. Realizing his chances of continuing the season are slim, Hudson helped him by repairing his semi-axis, claiming that he learned a trick when he was younger. Gus, impressed with the results, suggested the profession of a doctor for Hudson in the future, but he stated at the time, that it will never happen, but years later he has became a doctor.

History

Gus O'Line was a race car who in early 1950s, he competed in the Piston Cup Racing Series. One day, while he and Hudson Hornet were racing bumper to bumper for first place, Gus felt a problem, and after the race, it was discovered that he had dislocated his semi-axis. Realizing his chances of continuing the season are slim, Hudson helped him by repairing his semi-axis, claiming that he learned a trick when he was younger. Gus, impressed with the results, suggested the profession of a doctor for Hudson in the future, but he stated at the time, that it will never happen, but years later he has became a doctor.
