In the original story, [[Lightning McQueen]] is invited to race in the first ever Radiator Springs Grand Prix. He refuses, choosing instead standard community service. When he wakes up the next morning, his V8 alcohol motor had been taken out of his body and put inside of a steamroller. Lightning's voice is inside of the steamroller body and he is forced to fix the road. Meanwhile [[Mater]] borrows McQueen's body and goes to the next Piston Cup race. However, Lightning wakes up again, finding himself in his regular body, revealing that everything was just a dream. He sees the old steamroller body on the side, though.
