Lt. Charlie G. was a fighter aircraft, that during World War 2 had served in the United States Navy with the rank of lieutenant. He was a part of Jolly Wrenches and belonged to the squadron under the command of the Skipper Riley. He fought in the battle of Glendal Canal.
History
Lt. Charlie G. was a fighter aircraft, that during World War 2 had served in the United States Navy. He was a part of Jolly Wrenches and belonged to the squadron under the command of the Skipper Riley. He had an identification of Jigsaw 17. He, as the entire squadron, was trained by Riley. His first mission was the patrol over the Glendal Canal. During the mission, the squadron misinterpreted the numbers of enemy forces, thinking that they saw one ship instead of the entire fleet. They have noticed their mistake after proceeding to attacked the enemy. During the mission, Charlie G., as well as the entire squadron excluding Riley, had died.
