The Explosion was an American Punk Rock band that was best known for their songs "No Revolution", and Here I Am. Of the two an instrumental version of Here I Am was selected for the Cars: The Videogame soundtrack.
The Explosion broke up after being dropped from their label in 2007, with their final album not seeing release until 2012, and the band doing periodic one-off reunion shows every few years.
